All about me
I have experience in cardiology, medical, community health, and geriatrics. My bread & butter is seniors health! I say that too… knowing that my blog may also support grandparents who might face chronic pain themselves, and yet have hearts of gold to support their adult children with their own childcare.
My case management skills professionally has helped me navigate my own health challenges by being resourceful, innovative, network, and optimize finances and community supports available. Chronic pain has made me become an even better delegator, problem-solver, conflict- management mediator, advocate, and a strong resilient MAMA BEAR!
My OHANA
Life with a toddler is like riding a rollercoaster that was built by a excited team of squirrels—thrilling, a little wild, and full of unexpected turns! Watching my sassy daughter leap into this new phase has me both chuckling and holding my breath. One minute we’re having a tea party or colouring, and the next, she’s attempting to climb to the top of the couch like it’s Mount Everest.
As if that wasn't enough excitement, my hubby knows how to flex his biceps both on and off the job. Who knew a hard day in the trades could result in a dad who can swoop in at a moment’s notice to rescue a toy from the high seas of our living room? Teamwork makes the dream work, right?

Then there's our golden retriever, who’s convinced he’s the smartest pup in the park. Agility training? Oh, he’s all for it! The mental gymnastics I’m working on with him are almost as dizzying as keeping up with my dancing toddler. Seriously, if I wasn’t already in shape from pilates and a trial of Hip-Hop dancing, chasing after my girl and coaxing my pooch through obstacle courses sure keeps me on my toes.
When I’m not juggling toddlers and training dogs, you can find me elbows-deep in event planning or making magical things with my Cricut. Photography is my sweet escape, capturing all the candid moments between toddler tantrums and puppy mischief. Here's to navigating the chaos and creativity of parenthood! But you always have to support your mental health too and get some R&R. Seasonally I like to do golf, kayaking, snowshoeing and snowboarding. Living in Canada, you have to have seasonal sports.
Although I identify as a “Mama bear”, I certainly don’t want to hibernate for half the year-life is too beautiful to sleep it away. But a good deep snooze is always welcomed by this new mom!
